The Last Man actress Leah Remini revealed on Twitter that her “body dysmorphic disorder” caused her to lose her job.
Remini, who was cast as the mother of one of the main characters in the upcoming Fox drama, is currently filming a pilot in LA and was unavailable for comment on her pregnancy.
“The Last Girl” actress said that “my body dysmorphy causes me to lose my job as an actress, and my life, but it also causes me some happiness and positivity,” she wrote.
“Life is full of struggle and struggle is worth the struggle.
When you have a life lesson that applies to everyone, you can be a better person.”
Remini’s comments come after actress and activist Alyssa Milano, who is pregnant with her second child, said on Twitter she was going through the same experience.
“I’ve been thinking about the life lesson I have been learning about pregnancy and body dysmorphics since the beginning of my pregnancy,” Milano wrote.
